Who We Are
About Agro Farm
Agro Farm is an agricultural commodity export company based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. We connect Tanzanian farmers and cooperatives with processors, manufacturers and traders around the world — handling everything from farm-gate sourcing to the moment your container clears your port.
What We Do
We export bulk cashew nuts, sesame seeds, spices, pulses, grains, edible oils and sisal fibre. Our work starts in the producing regions — Mtwara and Lindi for cashew, the central corridor for sesame and pulses, Zanzibar for cloves, the Usambara highlands for cardamom — where we aggregate directly from farmers and cooperative unions. It continues in Dar es Salaam, where every lot is cleaned, graded, sampled and tested before export.
How We Work
Origin-direct, always
Buying at origin instead of through chains of middlemen gives our buyers two things: traceability back to the growing region, and pricing that reflects the farm gate rather than a trading chain. When you ask where your goods came from, we can answer precisely.
Quality before shipment, not after
Moisture meters, sieves, sortex graders and accredited lab testing are part of our standard intake process. Pre-shipment inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek can be arranged on any order — we would rather resolve a question in Dar es Salaam than at your port.
Documentation as a discipline
Export paperwork is where many suppliers fail their buyers. Our export desk prepares the full document set in-house — commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, quality and weight certificates — and checks it twice before the vessel sails.
One accountable contact
From your first inquiry to post-delivery support, you deal with a single export desk. Quotations within 24 hours, loading photos and vessel details shared without being asked, and honest communication if anything changes.
