Verified Before It Ships
Quality Assurance
In commodity trade, quality disputes are expensive for everyone. Our quality system is designed to answer every specification question before the container leaves Dar es Salaam — with samples, tests and certificates you can check.
Four Layers of Control
1 · Intake sampling
Every incoming lot is sampled on arrival using standard probe methods across bags. Lots that fail our intake checks on moisture, admixture or visible defects are rejected or reconditioned — never blended away.
2 · In-house testing
Moisture meters, sieves and grading screens verify each lot against contract specification during cleaning and bagging. Critical parameters are re-checked at container stuffing.
3 · Accredited laboratory analysis
Where the specification demands it — aflatoxin in groundnuts, oil content in sesame, microbial counts in spices — samples go to accredited laboratories, and the certificates travel with the shipping documents.
4 · Independent inspection on request
SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek can inspect and supervise loading on any order at the buyer's cost. We welcome it: an independent certificate protects both sides.
What We Test, by Product Group
| Product group | Standard checks |
|---|---|
| Cashew (RCN & kernels) | Nut count, moisture, outturn assessment, foreign matter |
| Sesame & oilseeds | Purity, admixture, moisture, oil content |
| Pulses | Count/size, purity, moisture, foreign matter |
| Spices | Moisture, cleanliness, grade sizing, microbial on request |
| Groundnuts | Count, moisture, aflatoxin (lab), foreign matter |
| Edible oils | FFA, peroxide value, moisture, colour (certificate of analysis) |
Moisture Discipline
Most transit damage in agri-commodities traces back to moisture. We dry to specification, verify with calibrated meters before bagging, and use ventilated stuffing practices for moisture-sensitive cargoes like raw cashew nuts.
