Bulk Groundnuts (Peanuts) Supplier in Tanzania

Bold, well-filled groundnuts from Tanzania's southern and central highlands — graded by count, dried to safe moisture and lab-tested for aflatoxin for snack processors, oil crushers and traders.

Product Overview

Groundnuts thrive in Tanzania's sandy highland soils, producing bold kernels with the size and flavour profile that snack roasters and blanchers look for. Our supply comes from the southern highlands and central regions, where smallholder production is aggregated, dried and graded for export.

Every export lot is machine-cleaned, gravity-separated and hand-checked for count uniformity. Because aflatoxin is the critical food-safety parameter for groundnuts, each lot is lab-tested to EU and buyer-specific limits before it is approved for bagging — and the certificate accompanies the shipment.

We pack in 50 kg PP bags (25 kg on request) and stuff containers at Dar es Salaam. For oil-crushing buyers we can supply crushing-grade lots at keener pricing against volume contracts.

European buyers face some of the world's strictest aflatoxin limits, and meeting them starts long before the lab test — it starts with drying discipline at farm level and dry storage through the chain. Our intake protocol rejects high-moisture lots outright rather than blending them down, which is the only honest way to guarantee the certificate your port health authority will check.

Export Documentation

Every shipment of Groundnuts is accompanied by a complete set of export documents:

Quality Assurance

Groundnut quality control has one non-negotiable: aflatoxin. Beyond lab testing every lot, we control the inputs — proper drying at farm level, moisture verification on intake, and dry, ventilated storage before export.

Count uniformity, splits and foreign matter are checked on the grading line, and third-party inspection can supervise sampling and loading for buyers who require it.

Sourcing Season & Buying Tips

Tanzanian groundnuts are harvested around the middle of the year, with timing varying by zone and the season's rains. Fresh-crop lots arrive at buying stations from roughly May, and early buying secures the boldest counts before stocks are picked over.

Because aflatoxin risk rises with poor storage, buying fresh-crop lots that go straight into our drying and testing stream is the safest strategy. Tell us your target count early in the season and we will select and test lots to match.

Who Buys Groundnuts

Shipping & Logistics

Groundnut containers move from Dar es Salaam to Rotterdam and other European ports in roughly 4–6 weeks, to the Middle East in 2–3 weeks, and to Asia in 3–5 weeks depending on routing. Because groundnuts are moisture- and aflatoxin-sensitive, we verify dryness before stuffing, use ventilated loading practice, and never ship lots that failed lab testing. Your clearing agent receives the document set — including the aflatoxin certificate — before the vessel arrives.

Frequently Asked Questions

What counts do you supply?

40/50, 50/60 and 60/70 kernels per ounce as standard export counts. State your target count in the inquiry and we will match lots to it.

How do you control aflatoxin?

Every export lot is lab-tested to EU or buyer-specific limits before bagging, and certificates travel with the documents. Lots that fail are not shipped as food grade.

In-shell or kernels?

Both. Kernels for snack and processing buyers; in-shell for specific markets — tell us which you need.

What is the minimum order?

One 20-foot container, roughly 19–20 MT.

What moisture do you ship at?

Maximum 7%, verified by meter before bagging.

Do you supply blanched groundnuts?

Our standard export is raw graded groundnuts. Blanched grades can be discussed for committed volumes.

What documents come with the shipment?

Full set including the aflatoxin/lab certificate, phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin and weight certificate.

Can I get a pre-shipment sample?

Yes — samples are couriered for your lab's approval before the balance is committed.
